An Indian brand selling kid’s nutrition products wanted to increase its reach and product sales. Although it’s a registered company, it lacks the funds to run mass marketing campaigns. They wanted to create a mobile/web app where people could buy products for their children. At the same time, the client wanted an app that could grab the attention of parents and users.
Most importantly, the client wanted to stand out in a market flooded with nutrition and food advice apps. Also, they wanted to grow organically, meaning they didn’t want to hire celebrities or influencers to market their products. The app also had to comply with the prevailing regulations. How did Tridhya Tech pull off this project? Let’s find out.
Only if the children like the products will the parents buy it. Parents will buy the product if they are convinced it's healthy and nutritious for children. The purchase, checkout process, as well as third-party integration have to be on point.
Since the client manufactures nutrition products, they will have to sell large quantities to ensure profitability. Hence, encouraging customers to make repeated purchases will be the top priority.
Data security is also a must because the app will handle children-related information. So, age verification checks, secure payment gateways, and strict privacy policies are necessary.
We created a user-friendly app that facilitates smooth online transactions. Besides in-app purchasing, the app has educational and interactive features to highlight product value.
All companies love 5-star ratings, but we included options for customers to post reviews/comments to show that the brand cares about customers. This feature will encourage repeat visits and purchases.
Designers and developers worked together to create a website that looks good and works smoothly. Robust encryption, optimal API security, user authentication, and rigorous testing ensure app security.
The road to app development was not easy. We had to conduct regular meetings with the stakeholders to understand what they expected from the app. Everyone had different opinions and ideas. The challenge was to find a balance between ideas and feasibility and design the app. Most importantly, we had to create an app that wanted people to make repeat purchases.
Months of hard work and brainstorming paid off. Parents like the app, praising the product quality and promoting it through word of mouth. The app users are growing daily, and our client may soon become one of the country’s top brands.
