Our client approached Tridhya Tech to develop a custom gift-giving mobile app for Apple devices. The client’s purpose was to connect consumers with regional businesses by delivering items created exclusively by small vendors in Washington, D.C. The app should allow users to choose fresh, locally sourced treats to send as gifts, customize them with a personalized message, and include the recipient’s details. They also wanted free same-day delivery inside the District of Columbia and the ability to send a note addressed to the recipient along with the item being delivered.
The client's goal was to empower small businesses in DC by offering only products made by local vendors. Tridhya faced the challenge of integrating these vendors into the app and ensuring that their products were easily searchable and accessible to users
Tridhya faced the challenge of building a robust and efficient delivery system capable of handling a high volume of orders while simultaneously providing buyers with real-time order tracking information to enhance their experience.
One of the challenges Tridhya Tech's team faced when designing the gift-giving app was enabling the seamless customization of gifts with customized notes or messages. The client wanted users to be able to add a personalized note or message with the delivery for their loved ones.
Tridhya Tech developed a streamlined onboarding procedure that made it simple for small businesses to sign up for the platform and list their items. Our team also included a search engine that allowed customers to filter their gift options. This made it simple for users to find and buy things made by local merchants, thereby supporting small businesses and connecting customers to their surrounding area.
To make the delivery process more efficient, our team created an exclusive algorithm that optimized delivery routes and allowed delivery persons to make several deliveries at the same time. Tridhya Tech’s team also leveraged technology to provide real-time updates to buyers on the status of their deliveries.
Tridhya Tech’s team developed a robust message management system that enabled users to easily add personalized notes or messages to their orders. Our team also incorporated a feature that allowed users to preview their messages before submitting their orders to ensure accuracy.
